I finally got to a human voice at Comcast:

They admitted they are having a problem passing mail to former  
Adelphia subscribers.

You two gentlemen are not the only ones ... there are many.   It is a  
issue passing mail between servers.

They have no idea when they will resolve the issue.

They are working on it.

They will not refund any of my bill because I cannot get mail through  
to Adelphia subscribers.
