Yes it is worth seeing Fred's light-rail travelogue. But Fred, be sure
to include the interurban line that was opened in 1909. For those of
you who missed it, Fred purposely left out Pittsburgh and Philly light
rail because we were all familiar with it.

I have no idea. Feb. 24 I have to provide illustrations for a
show for CERA in Chicago ... may go or may just send slides. March
10 I'm putting on my grand travelogue of light rail / heavy rail at
the Tractioneers Meeting in Washington DC. (Ask Bob Deitrich if
it's worth seeing ... he saw the same program in Philly last
week.) July 8-19 schedule calls for a trip to Alaska that my
wife and Janis Lybarger concocted; I added a drive across the country
at each end because I don't want to be pinched in an airline seat.
That will mean another brief look at CTA, Salt Lake City, St. Louis
and Denver and maybe LRT construction in Seattle and the Skyway
Airport line in Vancouver. There are limits when one has a wife
along! Dinosaur National Monument sounds interesting. (I want to
see if they have my grave ready.)
Snow? Sun has disappeared. Clouds have rolled in. calling for
4 to 8 inches tonight. To quote the Democratic campaign anthem from
1932: "Happy Days Are Here Again."
