Toronto referred to their PCC's as "red rockets" and the first of the new 
cars were displayed at the Canadian Ex, a large 
fair, so the public got a good introduction to the "new cars."  I have better 
information on file but John Bromley of this list is an expert on Toronto and 
could expand at some length on the facts.
