Obviously the caption information is garbled.  Just who did the garbling is
unclear.

I fail to see how a bridge can replace a daylighted tunnel but a
bridge can be over a cut that replaced a daylighted tunnel.

A "daylighted" tunnel is one which had the roof (aka ceiling) removed
and was turned into a cut.
