[PRCo] Re: SHJ__Mystery__Track/True Confessions

Back in "the day" when I was still in high school and used to come to Pgh to ride and photograph PRCo cars I would always write PRCo in advance and have them send me a "Property Permit." This permit would allow access to the various installations legally. 

After going through this administrative process several time I noticed the "Property Permit" was nothing more than a mimeographed (most of us remember the mimeograph machine, I'm sure) piece of paper, typed on a pica typeface typewriter, with a line drawn where the name of the installation(s) would be inserted by handwriting. It was then signed by a Mr. Tighe. 

Well, I worked a partime job after school where there was a mimeograph machine and typewriters with pica typeface. Never again did I have to write in advance for a "Property Permit." It worked every time. The first time I tried it, at Craft Avenue Car House, it was inspected by the shop foreman. I was sweating bullets. He said "OK, go on, just let me know when you are leaving." 

I had also apparently mastered Mr. Tighes handwriting quite well!
