The maintenance facility was at the west end of the line, where it
rises up above the railroad level adjacent to the factory. The ERA
Headlights accounts of the abandonment of the line claim it quit when
the platform sag of 4344 became so severe the doors could not be
closed. In my mind this translates to "it wasn't cost effective to
drag another car over to the line." I think that was about 1952.
It was replaced by the Broadhead Manor - Schoenville bus.
