Included here are the 50 4200s Arranged by Scrapped Date which is the
second column of Date Listings - First Date Column is Delivery // In
Service Date (an X in the date column means the actual figure in my
listing is unreadable.) A full 18 cars made it into the 1950s
before being scrapped with 4213 being the first car scrapped in the
1950s (19500419) -- the previous scrapping was over 4 years before
that (4216 on 19460209) -- some could have sat in storage for a while
before being scrapped and some could have been on the line one day and
sent to the scrapper the next but it seems to be a rule that they sat
around a little time before being scrapped::
