HI GUYS:

I have taken Matt's listing and retyped it as a microsoft Excel
spreadsheet. I'm going to attach it but I'm assuming that it will
get stripped off by Derrick's software.

If it doesn't go through and If you have MS Excell and want a ready
to print, sharp, full size landscape version, send me an e-mail
directly (fwschneider at comcast.net) and I'll send the file to you. My
version has two more columns than Matt's I manipulated the active
PCC fleet by their average spare shop ratio (an incredibly low 7%) to
get a rough idea how many PCCs they could muster ... then I added a
column for average PCCs in the PM rush by barn and average
conventional cars PM rush by barn.

They were using about 66 conventional cars at that time. Several
months later, when the strike ended, they had a surplus of PCC cars,
a surplus of buses, a surplus of motormen, drivers, and mechanics.
