I drove in toward DC (Tysons, from Ashburn) during evening rush Wednesday, 
into NYC during evening rush Thursday, and into Chicago during evening 
rush Friday 9 days ago. Rush hour sucks even if you "countercommute".

If I didn't want to have my car in all 3 cases I would have dumped it on 
the outskirts and used transit. In NoVA it's harder: Metro *starts* by 
Falls Church.
