The 17th St. Incline is visible in the distance under the bridge at the 
right center of the photo.

In 1955, this bridge was replaced with the current bridge which has a wider 
curve.  That spring I watched the first PRR passenger train to use the new 
bridge - the Afternoon Steeler from Pittsburgh to Cleveland.
