Very Nice Photo! Each and every one.
..
AuContrare on fresh paint -- Many Such Photos!
..
Had Many nice rides up and down that ramp. Route 19 made for some
very uncommonly fast rides into and out of Pittsburgh, but then this was
the hallmark of Many Lines of PRCo. West End and North Side routes
were into town, turned around, and right back out -- necessary to
transfer for some people to get into the heart of town but still the
ride there was quite fast. A couple NS lines came in over Penn and
out on Liberty. The rest were somewhat slowed on the North Side
but still had reasonably congestion free routes for good Rapid Transit.
..
West End right in and out of town and then immediately on to their own
lines, not a few with prw for more Rapid Transit!
..
South Hills had the tunnel and even in rush hour, TrolleyCars moved very
efficiently through here on Simple Line Of Sight. Rapid exit from
downtown which saw several routes -- 40, 44, and 48 hit their
dedicated lines almost immediately. The rest had good prw or fast
truck routes!
..
Second Avenue, Fifth Avenue and Wylie allowed for reasonably good RT -
Oakland congestion slowed the lines somewhat. Liberty and Penn
allowed for quick entries and exits!
..
All in All PRCo had some very efficient TrolleyCars!
..
Bay to Breakers race here in SF today - starts at Embarcadero up
Mission, 9th, Hayes Street Hill past Alamo Square and the Famous
Victorians, then through Golden Gate Park to the Ocean. GG Park
just 2 blocks from me -- went to get Coffee and Danish to find the
local Car Stop Totally Swamped in Humanity and packed 2-car train trying
to absorb more. That one just barely left when another 2 car train
appears with Plenty Of Room. Not as raucous as in previous years
when it was Far More Like A Battle Zone on the streets until the hordes
disappeared.
