That's much more than a wye...that's the entrance to the 30th Street Car
House (ex-Birmingham Traction Co.).

Nice shot...lots of texture there.  And no autos, which is strange for the
late date.

Description: Trolley car 50 makes its way down East Carson Street on the
South Side. Looking west from 3022 East Carson Street, near the
Wickersham Public School. Wickersham School was named in honor of James
P. Wickersham, who served as the Superintendent of Public Instruction
from 1866 until 1881. The school, located at 3004 East Carson Street in
Pittsburgh's South Side neighborhood, was erected in 1883. Wickersham
School closed on July 1, 1949, and the property was subsequently sold
for $66,353.
