The global warming alarmists claim you are experiencing the "ice cube
effect." Drop a cube of ice into a glass of warm water and the water
temperature will temporarily chill. But once the transfer is complete, the
ice in the glass will melt and the ambient temperature of the room will
prevail, warming up the contents of the glass.

The alarmists say global warming is thawing the polar regions and the ice
breaking off is floating to the warmer regions below the poles. This results
in a temporary chilling of the warmer regions.

Now shall we discuss what would have eventually replaced all those well worn
PCCs had the Port Authority decided to retain ALL surviving Pittsburgh
streetcar lines upon their taking over in 1964? ;-)
