The planetarium building is still intact but I have to confess that being
from suburbia, I don't know what its present use is.

This meaning that the old planetarium is gone? I need to take a full day and
drive all over Pgh and see what is gone and what is new.

When I was in the city after PRM a couple of weeks ago I went to the
Conservatory in Oakland. I was pleasantly surprised to see it is much larger
than when I lived in Pgh. That was always one of my favorite places, in the
dead of Winter, to go almost weekly. The living plants and the warm humid
air were wonderful to be in.

I used to make the annual Pilgrimage to the model railroad layout at Buhl
and then go two or three more times each year to the different 'star
concerts.'

Carnegie
Science Center, which now hosts the layout.

Speaking of model railroads. Do they still setup the large layout at Buhl
during the holiday season?
