Jefferson and Inglewood fed into 42/38 at Clearview, along with Sunset
Hills. Proposed PAT routes generally duplicate the old PRC routes, although
that is not how the PAT press release is spun. One of them may have also
fed 35/36 at Castle Shannon.

Yes, 44/49 bus replacement would have terminated next to junction before
tunnel paved. Vague impression there were others, but early 1970s was a
looooooong time ago.

PRC had lots of feeder buses. In the Wilkinsburg area, there was a 78
replacement that went to Oakmont, another one to Breckinridge, and one
around Regent Square. There were also trolley feeders: Shoenville,
Thornburg, Bon Air, Corey Ave., Oakmont, Atwood, 38A, and I would also
suggest Sarah St., just to throw out a potential trivia answer. And not to
overlook the inclines and the Washington city lines and Donora (in later
years).

There's nothing original about shuttle transit routes in Pittsburgh, at
least for the members of this list.
