Considering the turmoil in my own life, please accept my apologies
for not recognizing if someone else also commented on this in the
last month.

1. The expression Harmony Line applies to the bus company and not
the electric railway. The railway was the Pittsburgh, Harmony,
Butler and New Castle Railway Company. Harmony Short Line Motor
Transportation Company was the bus successor. The village of Harmony
was located near Zelienople.

2. The idea of 75 mph operation strikes me as sort of an urban
legend. I've been looking on line for a timetable to see if I can
get a clue to speeds. Peak speeds up to 60 miles per hour should
allow you to cover a line in an average time of about 20-22 miles
per hour. Top speeds closer to 50 might give you something like
17-18 mile per hour ... sort of like West Penn. Top of 75 with a
stop for passengers every ten miles ... well, you'll get an average
close to 60 mph. But top of 75 with stops every mile? Who are we
kidding, you can't get a car up to 75 between stops a mile apart
unless we push it off a cliff. If you could, you might get an
average of 23 miles per hour.
