These cars were originally built on an assembly line where many parts are built and-or installed by many individuals specifically for remuneration; this car was rebuilt by an individual 'with love' if we may use such a term with high quality performance for all parts, wasn't it. Always good to hear such a report.
In life it always seems we are staring at the horse's patoot, doesn't it, but assume you mean real world below.

Subject: [PRCo] The Jones Car
Car 4398 looked almost too good yesterday ... Ed and I were looking at it and I remarked that it probably never looked that good, even brand new ... that there never was room in the rear world for perfection. Ed's words were that cars were built to "workman-like quality" and Justin's work is a grade higher than that. The inside and out of 4398 shines like a baby's behind. Somewhere in the process the old bronze castings for the handles for the seat backs were lost. When I was there yesterday brand new ones were being ground down from rough sand castings to a mirror polish to be installed on the seats. Striping shound be finished in the next week or so and then the body can be jacked up again, the trucks removed, and the remanufactured motors installed for the May 2nd rollout.
