What's this Manhattan and Bronx stuff Dennis? I thought you were in
California.

It is fun reading what I have time to and then apply the travel problems to
the students and faculty you use this campus. The vast majority of the
students who live off campus, live in Manhattan or the Bronx and have to
usually do at least a bus-train-bus trip or maybe a subway-bus-train-bus
trip to get to campus and then return home, often at varying times of the
day. The professors often choose the same methods.
1. It is remarkable, to a person from western Pennsylvania, that such huge
systems actually work and work well..
2. The students seem to adapt to the system very well.
3. The adults adapt to the system. My composition teacher has a
bus-train-bus trip up to campus and back to Manhattan every Tuesday.
4. Most of these students are doing it with anything from a small
instrument cases to bass trombones, cellos and all sorts of other huge
things. They are remarkably resilient men and women.
Keep warm.
