We've certainly used enough bandwidth to complain about two or three bucks,
haven't we?

If there's a service out there that benefits me, I pay the price and don't
squawk too loud. I don't think it's exorbitant to pay $5.50 to SEPTA for
the train ride from the airport, for example...it's worth every penny to me
because I don't have to sit in traffic in a stinky cab with a driver who
used garlic perfume.

By the same token, that cab ride in London is all about convenience, isn't
it? And I don't mind, at my age, paying for some of that.

There's a difference between price and value, after all. And you don't have
to be cheap to avoid being stupid.

I'M GOING TO APPEND THIS TO JOHN'S RATHER THAN WRITE ONE MORE MESSAGE
TO A PITTSBURGH WEB SITE ON THE DAMN NEWARK AIRPORT. DON'T FORGET
THAT THOSE OF US WHO ARE SENIORS CAN PAY NJT'S SENIOR FARE WHICH IS
HALF THE REGULAR FARE ... THAT MAKES THE AMTRAK NY-EWR FARE $28, THE
NJT FARE $14 AND THE SENIOR FARE $7 ...
