If this can wait till Spring, I will be happy to add the landmarks. But there's just too much going on for me to direct the proper attention to it right at the moment. Maybe in May, after three conventions, after the course we're teaching at Pitt is done, after the new exhibit is in place at PTM, after I take a week out to run to Florida, etc. And Fred would have us believe HIS schedule is busy!!

Subject: [PRCo] Washington Interurban Color Maps
Hello. Glad you guys liked the maps. I am using Terrain Navigator to
create these maps. I was told we dont have the Pro version yet, but
maybe in the future. It seems I got the Houston Main Street area wrong
as I suspected. Since we had half a day at work due to the snow I stayed
and re-did the route in a thin red line, which looks alot nicer. I will
post tomorrow.
What is cool about this program is I can make an animation AVI file and
its like flying over the route. I am on the learning curve with this
program so that may take awhile. I can post a short AVI so you can see
if you like it.
If you want the PRCo landmarks and passing sidings I would be happy to
do this. If one of you can print out the maps ,mark it, and mail it to
me I will attempt this.
Please mail to: Ray Lattner, PADEP, 400 Waterfront Dr. Pgh., PA 15222
or if you want to email me the changes: rlattner at state.pa.us
These are my work addresses, which are faster than my home addresses.
I am also trying to make this one map out of about 6 quads like someone
did
for the Montour RR line. I was told I might need the Pro version to do
this though.
Oh, I started the Charleroi line, which I am sure has many mistakes.
Feel free to comment and correct after I post.
Finally, I am being dense, I read the correction but I am just not sure
what you mean. I would appreciate a drawing of this.
One last thing, what can be done with Google earth?
Ray
