No. My friend Bruce Bente simply speaks of it in terms of waves like
throwing a stone into a pond and watching the ripples go out. In
many cities the ripples are starting over and there are good places
to live downtown. Ask Derrick Brashear ... he moved back into the
city. I think, and preach, that as two-plus billion Chinese and
Indians drive up the price of petroleum, we will be forced to move
into more compact housing if we want to stay warm (or cool) and be
able to get to stores and work without an inordinate amount of driving.
