Sheet 4 is dated 1931. Sheet 15 has two versions posted, 1927 and
1955.

On sheet 15, the 1927 edition marked the RoW along Haberham as
"Pittsburgh and Castle Shannon RR Incline Plane". The 1955 has it as
"Pittsburgh Railways Co."

Sheet 5 of Volume 6 of the 1916 plat book shows the north portal of
the coal RR tunnel directly above the center line of the street car
tunnel (see attached snippet, mt_wash2). It seems the portal was
about as far from Neff Sty. (along the center line of the street car
tunnel) as the distance between Neff and William streets.

That places the portal in the notch in the contours shown on sheet 4
(see mt_wash3, attached).

I was interested to note the triangular protrusion on the west side
of the RoW of the Castle Shannon incline. Much of that triangular
area houses many irregularities in the contour lines. I suggest that
the lower end of both inclines were very close together, the RoW for
the newer incline taking over much of the older RoW at the lower end.
