Actually, I walked back from the coffeehouse last night along Carson and
we got another shot at why rail other than for tourism on Carson is a bad
idea. Total gridlock. Something along the P&LE might be useful, it's never
far from Carson, but, at the end of the day, when you want to get home,
the 51B takes a little longer than you might like, and locking in a rail
line on that corridor doesn't fix it.
