I heard that something like a million people are without power in the Czech republic.  I suspect that is why we haven't heard from Boris for several days. He could be out rebuilding the overhead for all we know.  BC had it  (destroyed Stanley Park and the great old trees) and parts of Ontario had during the summer, so look out!

Dunno if you heard/read about the high windstorms they’ve had recently 
in several European countries. In Germany the entire DB system ceased 
operations for several hours, in fact.

This photo is in Switzerland. Someone posted a comment further down in 
the thread about how this equipment looks very lightweight.
