The list started out as a Pittsburgh Railways and southwestern
Pennsylvania trolley fans list. We have one member who used to try
to police it ... even he has given up recently. It has more or less
turned into a group of friends ... railfan friends ... who all have a
love for Pittsburgh Railways, West Penn Railways, some like
Johnstown, some like Wheeling or Monongahela West Penn or
Steubenville and from there it can sometimes get really off list.
We had a long discussion last weekend about how essential it is to
speak Spanish if you want to drive a bus in Cleveland. Oh, did I
forget to tell you, I think the list was expanded to include
Cleveland by popular demand. So, if you want in, just tell Derrick.
Derrick is a young man ... computer geek ... started the list in
order to find out more about trolleys. He is also interested in
industrial archeology of steel mills. I want to think Derrick is in
his late 20s but he has to have moved into his early 30s by now
because I'm later than I want to admit. He lives in Pittsburgh.
