Clementon Park, which was served by the very last Public Service  
Railway line in Camden, New Jersey, is still open.   Their web site  
says it opened in nineteen aught and seven.   Click on the URL below.

Dennis' list was totally east coast and New England.

One of the older choice locations that it misses is Santa Cruz,  
California where the park is spread out on the boardwalk along the  
ocean.

And there is also the site of the original Coney Island hot dog....   
If you google Coney Island, you get 114 thousand hits!   Here is one  
that seemed interesting on the first page.   The 68 Coney Island  
Avenue trolley quit running in October 1955 and the 50 McDonald cars  
quit running to Coney at the end of business on October 31, 1956.    
But there are still three or four subway routes going to the most  
famous of all pleasure beaches.
