[PRCo] Disappearing Feeder Cables

Image on the left is from Spring, 1966. Image on the right is from August, 1967.

Does anybody know why PAT removed the feeder cables pictured in the 1966 view? There were no abandonments of any South Hills routes over those fourteen months. Was a substation removed, or were some feeders consolidated, rendering these redundant? Perhaps they weren't used for years and the scrappers were able to cut them down.


Anybody know the answers?
