I suppose I am not a "real" fan, inasmuch as I seldom go to the games. I do watch a few on tv, especially when the stakes are high. When I lived in Pgh I always supported all three pro teams (Pirates, Steelers, Penguins) especially during the 1970s when they were really doing well.

Cleveland is supposed to get a pro hockey team next year. That will make us four pro teams. The new hockey team is supposed to play in the "Q Arena" where the Cavs play. It should get pretty busy there when both teams are playing.

I always wondered why hockey never drew that much of a crowd here. We are, as you know, share the international border with the Canadian provence of Ontario.

There is an old PRCo trolley parked almost under the Q Arena. I think I mentioned that once before.

Be proud that you have the "Cavs", I have been gone from Pgh for 40+ years and often wonder why the NBA never came to Pittsburgh? Their fans love football , Baseball (coming back) and Hockey?
