There was a large facility either on or near Bedford Avenue which was sort of an early-era assisted living facility for the elderly. I remember the building in general, but not in detail. It may have even been built after 1946. Anyone know which place I am remembering? Is it still there today and what is it now? I believe it was operated by the Commonwealth of Pa.

pix on Dave's Electric Railroads, there maybe a shot from this area if it is
in the Hill District.

I don't know why, but I keep wondering if that photo was taken somewhere ib
the East End.
