>From the comments thus far, Thanksgiving does not seem to be a good time for
this event. It's also not a good time to be traveling. PTM has events the
last three weekends in October, as well as Thanksgiving and the two weeks
following. November is wide open from the museum perspective. I am away
the weekend of November 9-10-11-12.
Since there is planning required on this end to get things together, the
earlier we select a date the better it will be. So I'll go out on a limb
and propose November 16-17-18-19. The museum is open all four days, the
weather is generally tolerable, air and highway traffic is lighter than
average, and the foliage is gone.
But if the date works, you'll still need to decide what you want to do. As
Derrick says, we live here and can do any of it any time. It may be that we
can have concurrent field trips if not everyone wants to do all the same
things.
Thanks,
Ed
