All this accident stuff reminded me that I was in a "chargeable accident"
way back when, either just before or after my Air Force stint.  I can't
remember the details but a bus cut a corner too close and wanted to go to
the space already occupied by my car. It hit my car but did little or no
damage.  The thing I remember well is the operator was very apologetic, he
didn't want me to report the incident.  I was quite delighted to leave the
scene $25 richer but confused that he wanted me to take some money for
something so trivial.  I'm beginning to understand now what it was all
about.  

Keep the stories coming guys - besides being very entertaining they are
starting to bring back memories...
