Sometimes it is just the drive -- they are Not Instantaneous as we
have come to know computers.
.
I open Windows Explorer, then I put a CD // DVD into the drive and hit
the button to close the door.
.
I wait several // many seconds until the Indicator Light and Sound
reveal activity, then I click on the drive in Windows Explorer AND
Wait Some More. Usually the information will appear and All Files
Are There. These drivers are Persnickety~!~!~!~!~! Sometimes
it is necessary to ReBoot~!~!~!~!
.
Might be necessary to clean the super shiny (bottom) side with very
soft cloth and mild soap - dry well before using.
.
.
.
Dassn't matter what the resolution equivalents are -- with Any Photo
the eye is being fooled into believing it is looking at the real thing
when it is Just A *Representation.* With a 10- or 12-Meg
DigiCamera and Even Far Smaller in Resolution, one can make absolutely
Stunning Photographs.
.
Norman Spaulding is an Oakland native (That I~S Bay Area -- across
Double Deck Bay Bridge from SF) and is also computer whiz. Mike is
his best friend who is also native of SF -- Mike worked for SF Muni in
the 1960s and then went to Golden Gate Transit when it started as a
buyout of Greyhound local lines in the 1970s. Mike married in the
mid to late 1970s and had three great kids.
.
Kevin has been mentioned here before, and not long ago -- about a
Quarter Century old and a volunteer at Rio Vista -- WRM. He is
also *Amateur* photographer. Copying info Norm sent me (below)
to access some of Kevin's Absolutely Stunning // TanFasTic //
Breath-Taking // Gorgeous // Phenomenal Digi-Photos of TrolleyCars,
TrolleyCoaches, RR, MotorRoaches (literally in SF - cork-roaches Love
Diesel,) San Francisco // Bay Area Scenes -- (photo website by Norm
is super spectacular and extremely easy to navigate as well:::)

Greetings:

If you're interested, and you have a few moments, I've put a large photo
gallery online of pictures that Kevin has taken. Lots of subjects,
I'll let you be surprised; won't reveal in advance. :)

There are two pages. This links goes to the first page:

http://www.westcoastspecial.com/ksgallery.html

which has nine thumbnail panels. Just click on a thumbnail Then, in the
upper left, after you've been through those 9 panels, you can click
"Gallery Page Two" to continue to the 2nd page with 8 thumbnail panels.

The whole website is heavily under construction, so the links that show
up in the upper lefthand corner other than the one just described, do
not go anywhere yet.

The pages & photos may take a bit longer than usual to load; I didn't
want to reduce the photo sizes too much more than what you see here.

He has a lot of stuff there, and very much of it doesn't have anything
to do with rail. He's turning out to be quite the photographer. These
photos were shot on his *Nikon-D80* that he bought.

Thanks,
Norm
