"Washington Crossing" as I knew it growing up in the Lawrenceville section of Pittsburgh PA (Allegheny County) was the 40th Street Bridge. This bridge bears the name "Washington Crossing" on the side of the bridge, as a kind of sub-name.
The Pittsburgh Railways' Millvale Car House was probably about 200 feet away from this bridge, to the north, on the Millvale side of the bridge, of course.

Then again, Ken, I may be totally off the mark of your question, which may be about a town called "Washington Crossing."
