I understand exactly how you feel Jerry.
However, burying your head in the sand and ignoring the thermal
inversion and smog in Donora in 1948 or the photo Nazi's violating
first amendments rights granted in the U. S. Constitution only make
it easier for people like Tashio Hirohito, Adolf Histler, Idi Amin
and Benito Musolini to gain a foothold. These people are
everywhere. Just because we live in a democracy is not a guarantee
that they are also incorporated in our society too. Is that what we
want in our society or do we wish to control our society in the
manner of a New England town meeting?
I am the first to proclaim my love for a beautiful flower, a field of
grain waving in the breeze, and a snow capped mountain or a chance to
photograph a gator sunning itself in the Everglades but I want the
privilege to be allowed to go and enjoy those things when I feel like
it.
