A somewhat crude backyard trolley line has surfaced in videos on You Tube. There is a freight motor, work car and a Birney shell running on this line. I have no idea where this line is located. The You Tube tags suggest it is 2 foot gauge. The overhead is bracket arm. It appears each car has a separate control and brake handle. Lots of sparks in the first video...from the rail.

"Here the Birney is being spun around for its return trip to the car barn. Its is turned so that the controller end is facing forward, as this car is not equipped with dual controllers."

"As pristine as our track is, derailments do occur from time to time. Watch as Me, Stan, and Aaron work to get this 1800 lb car back on the rails."

Be careful what you ask this Christmas!!!
