Depends on the city. Remember there was Samuel Clemens famous line,
"The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco."
For those who don't understand the City by the Bay, it can be 50
degrees by the ocean with a heavy wind on a summer morning, and 105
degrees in the afternoon behind the Oakland and Berkley hills. I can
recall damn near freezing one July day while I stood on Yerba Buena
Island trying to get a picture of the Bay Bridge with the sea gulls
circling in just the right position to frame the bridge.
It's a city you can easily learn to love.
