Off-Topic but still of interest to PRCo readers...

Very sorry to hear about the death of Karl Hardman. Our world is growing smaller. With his death, an era in radio broadcasting has passed and will probably never be heard again.

Remember the fun Rege had with the "Flying Fraction" which I remember he also called the "Improper Fraction" on his show? I rode the 77/54 when traveling from Oakland to West Penn Hospital in the early 1950's while attending college.

For those interested: http://www.drtechnical.com/cordic.htm has a good selection of Rege's episodes. The author of this page is seeking additional recordings of Rege's broadcasts to add to the collection so they can be shared. http://www.drtechnical.com/cordic.htm

The Post Gazette still has Rege's obituary available. Found it by searching from their web site.
