The above is the "Hole" at 11th -- in the distance on our left is an
1101 IB pulling into 11th and anudder 1101 in the distant right backing
out onto Market where it will head OB, to the N-Judah if a pullout or to
the barn if a pull-in. J-Church cars wyed here to get to their line
but in these days, Only Baby Tens were used on the J. 1132 has
pulled just past the X-Over - look closely and it can be seen - and the
op is lowering the back pole, will then raise the front pole, back up
and use the X-Over then back onto Market.

If I had a buck for every time I did that I could be retired now~!~!~!
.
BO cars would be pushed deep onto the tracks in 11th, especially the
track on our right where they wouldn't interfere with regular operations.

This is sort of a rare picture -- note the TrolleyCoach overhead in
the OB direction only on 17th -- this was temporary and only lasted a
short time during the subway construction on Market near 17th to connect
to the Twin Peaks tunnel portal.
.
This was a shallow angle turnout which this 1101 is taking and
occasionally the trolley pole would follow down the wrong wire and of
course DeWire~!~!~!~! Some lady would often walk her dog in this
location and it would sit there intently watching the trolley pole,
growling very low level at it -- if it DeWired he just went
Berzerke-ely (That's the Really Left Coast~!~!~!~!)
