Sadly no one today understands that we could have enjoyable shows
without filth. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a puritan. I just
don't think every other word needs to be garbage. I worked with
railroaders in my life. I can swear too if the spirit dictates.
But we don;t need to make make every sentence out of curse words.
And we don't need every bit of humor to come from the bathroom, as in
the so called "comedy" channel on cable. That is also why I quite
going to Hershey Bears hockey games ... the audience was so perverted
that I was driven away.
I would like to go back to The Great Gildersleeve, Fiber Magee and
Molly, Amos and Andy, Jack Benny, Bob Hope...
It was a different world.
Oh well, time to put the shirt on and hunt a Chinese dinner.
