Sorry, Mark  --  should have given more details.

In the Original  URL  below of 1705 the loop around the admin is behind 
the photographer about a car length.

Note that 1705 is sitting on top of switch points  --  this back track 
was connected to Both the Inbound and Outbound  44//48  tracks at one 
time  --  the Back Track was bidirectional to and from the yard.     But 
the switch to the outbound  44//48  from the back track was removed 
about 1954--1955  --  it had probably fallen out of usage before that.

This map  http://mywebpages.comcast.net/bdietrich/pixlist.htm  shows the 
connection to the two tracks on the  44//48  and 1705 is facing the yard 
sitting on top of the points on the back track just coming off the 44.

The second URL below shows the switchwork of which we speak and 1705  
(in the first URL)  is sitting on the points of the switch of which we 
see only a part in the foreground on the BackTrack.     That track 
connecting to the outbound  44//48  was removed 1954--1955 or so.
