Electric PCC Streetcar # 1101 from San Francisco - $20000

MUNI PCC streetcar from San Francisco. Shabby, structurally sound. Across from South Lake Tahoe Airport. Some parts included not on premises.
This is 1945 St. Louis Car Co. Manufacture, original StL Transit #1700. Sold to San Francisco 1957 as MUNI #1101. Operated until September 1980. Sold at auction 1994, moved to South Lake Tahoe. This car is eligible for Federal rebuild grant for operator of streetcar startup /light rail line. We have San Diego #502, 1937 PCC, first of type in California, similar rough condition & price, in Colfax, CA. Also, in Roseville, CA, Toronto Transit 1948 PCC #4472- another project car... -all three are on standard gauge wheels & motorsets. Cars priced $20,000. per each.
All for $50,000, as is, without warranty. Load & transport shall be buyers responsibility. These care are appropriate for start-up streetcar line, and will be signature element of any trolley line. Corporate sponsor programs are the usual way equipment like this is returned to service. How about an electric trolley/ferry shuttle to Larkspur or Tiburon or San Rafael on the abandoned rail corridor?
