A Word file is attached with a tentative schedule for our upcoming event.
Please let me hear from you if there is anything that needs to be changed or
added.
PTM has asked for $10 apiece to cover power costs; we will have the run of
the railroad for the day and guest operation will be essentially unlimited,
consistent with operating rules and powerplant restrictions.
I have ordered the buses, and will have paid for them personally before we
leave. The per-person cost will be determined by the number of list riders,
plus a reasonable tip for the driver; everyone can settle with me Saturday
once all the numbers are known.
I've deliberately left some things open, like dinner the first two nights.
We can figute them out as we go. Saturday night, I thought everyone would
enjoy eating with the museum staff at Beechie's. The slide show Saturday
night is shown as optional; it will depend on how tired we all are. Sunday
is open so that people can do whatever they please.
Remember that I will be away November 6 -12, so that nearly everything needs
to be settled before I go.
Comments?
Thanks,
Ed
