Harmony Line from Pittsburgh to New Castle
  Penn Ohio from New Castle to Warren, OH
  Cleveland, Alliance & Mahoning Valley from Warren to Ravenna
  Northern Ohio Traction & Light from Ravenna to Akron
  Northern Ohio Traction & Light (Limited Service) from Akron to Cleveland
   
  The entire trip would probably take several days but could be done.

I think you had to take the Harmony line and then connect out of New 
Castle.
