This is the first I heard of it and would be before 1940 -
"""Approximately""" then both Liberty and Penn were made one way.

Excellent thought, Matt~!~!~! This would require some coordinated
operations (doubt there were Nachods on the ""single track""
portion(S) of Liberty OB but a car Could Come Inbound Along Liberty, use
the 'wye' at 12th, and go back to operating on Penn IB. What's
interesting is that this wye looks like it may have been rebuilt in the
1950s when Greyhound moved to the location between 11th and 12th~!~!~!

According to the maps Penn IB to 15th to Liberty OB. Could do the same
at 22nd IB to OB and at 23rd OB Liberty to Inbound Penn -- and a
TrolleyCar could do Loop-de-Loops through 22nd and 23rd into
infinity. The double track on Liberty was between 21st and 24th Plus
a short stretch of double at 32nd to allow an IB car access to Liberty
west of 32nd~!~!~! This 'Does' give a possible explanation of the
Wye at 12th and Liberty

That could explain the wye at 12th - please see above.

I remember an 88-Short but it turned OB to IB at Homewood -- what
would the purpose be of turning short in the Strip?
