The reality is that Joel Tarr doesn't know as much about Pittsburgh Railways
as he thinks. He is an excellent historian who specializes in people and
industry, but when I read the title in citation years back, I came away
feeling that he was presuming some things not really in evidence. Can I be
specific today? No. But if I had time I could go back and read it again
and make notes. Will anyone make the time for me to do this?!
