The 65 was a separate company (Homestead & Mifflin St. Ry. Co.) until
something like 1928. Its original routing covered the 65 and the latter-day
59. In 1944 Route 59 was created to run the Homeville Shuttle portion, and
terminated in Homestead. It was originally the Homestead & Highlands St.
Ry. Co.

Here is something we have discussed before as well but don't remember a
scan being made. This scan can be exploded considerably (about 24"
long) for good detail. The 65 was originally a stub end Off-Street
terminal beside Interboro at Mifflin. Once extended the terminal
became part of a siding!
