In better days, 1647, 1252, 1616 sit in South Hills Yard, 1956.08.29.
.
Both 1647 and 1252 have their Golden Glows, with 1647 being the painted 
black with which it was delivered.     16s were sans wings as well 
although some were retrofitted.     1647 has lost some of its front 
skirting - 1252 never had that skirting to lose while 1616 retains the 
skirts~!~!     The forward clamp for the spare trolley pole is still 
there on 1616~!~!
