Two-wheel brakes on autos were phased out in the 1920s.

I remember seeing an ad on a WP trolley that went something like this::

We Have *->8<-* Wheel Brakes~!~!

Popular advertizing of the late 1940s // early 1950s was 4-wheel brakes 
on cars  --  presumably they only had brakes on 2 wheels before that~!~!

Can't find that photo no matter how hard I look  --  has anyone else 
seen it~?~?
