Interesting that Ken showed us a photo of 1711 with SHANNON-LIBRARY dest. sign right before it was painted to gray. I have a few photos of this car in gray with just LIBRARY in the sign. Anyone know the reason for this?

The Interurbans had Only Interurban destinations::

RIVERVIEW
LIBRARY

CASTLE SHANNON
CANONSBURG
CHARLEROI
PITTSBURGH

WASHINGTON
CHARTERED
CAR HOUSE

We have had this discussion before -- I got this list from a former
PTM President who 'had' these for sale -- Very Expensive and The Date
Hunter printed them was 1949.12.12 which is Well After A~L~L
Interurban_PCCs were in service~!~! Ed has a list that is in a
little different order.
.
The dash lines above is a seam in the listing.
.
Shannon-Library
Shannon-Drake
.......added above Riverview by PRCo
.
Shannon-Washington
Shannon-Charleroi
.......Added between Charleroi and Pgh by PRCo.
.
.
After the 1953 cutback many of the Interurban_PCCs received South Hills
destination signs, but not all of them and it would be difficult to know
which car had what without someone at the time keeping a list --
Dave_H?~!~?~!~?~!
.
I have some side signs from various barns and there is some overlap --
if I can find them I shall make a list~!~! Commence Holding Your
Breath, Please~!~!~!
.
A roll with All PRCo routes would not fit into the dustynation mechanism~!~!
.
.
Comments here on the list , much info, and many facts reveal that PRCo
does things in a very definite and orderly fashion. The Interurban
PCCs were strictly used for Library, Drake and Shannon runs into
({[pat]}) days --- Y~E~S -- there are exceptions but they are
very unusual.
.
ALL PCCs delivered with same 'livery' with 2 exceptions --
-1->--restrictions imposed by WW2 War Powers Board (affecting 1500s and
1600s) and -2->--1700s which came with Hourglass Dash -- this
reveals some of the consistency with which PRCo operated -- 100 --
1699 delivered from 1936--1946.
