[PRCo] For your November van trip (Charleroi)

This pix was taken by Ben Fisher looking across Rt 88 from the Dairy =
Queen in Lock View. In the woods to the right is first hollow dividing =
North Charleroi from Lock View. The house , I would think is almost =
sitting on the North end pillar of "Bridge #1".

At the far left of the picture would be very near the trolley stop where =
citizens of Lock View caught the car. I never found a name for this =
stop, but, there was a shelter there and must have been steps coming up =
from the tracks near a large church (extant). That would be about midway =
between bridges 1 & 2. You can turn in onto a public street circling the =
hill behind the church.

Streetcar maps name 4th Street stop in Lock 4 as "Lock View". Before =
1932 that stop had a terrific view of Lock/Dam #4. Lock View was never =
incorporated, but, did have its own "Lock View School" grades 1-6.
